Dongyeo City is one of the only places in WOOFIA with an incredibly strong influence on pop culture. From pop music, idols, and groups to the film and television industry, it outshines other regions by far—and Byun Woogyu is one of those popular idols. Privately, he is affectionately called "Byun Byun" by his fans, while he refers to them as "Wolfies." His fan colors are a mix of pink-purple and light blue, the same colors as his fur, although his fur was dyed rather than born this way.

Choi Yuhyun, Shin Rirang, and Byun Woogyu grew up together as childhood friends in the countryside of Dongyeo City. When Byun Woogyu was young, he was often bullied for being a Hominian, and it was Rirang and Yuhyun who always helped him out. Thinking about it, it must have been tough for him to live in Dongyeo City as a Hominian. Though there are people who dislike them everywhere in WOOFIA, this issue seems to be much more severe in Dongyeo City.

Byun Woogyu is now a highly prominent idol, not just in Dongyeo City but across all of WOOFIA. Clips of his concerts can be seen everywhere on social media, with his most famous song, Luminous Rococo. Set it as your alarm ringtone, and you should wake up full of energy! Why don't you give it a try? When you're strolling through the streets, you can also spot his presence on digital billboards or hear his latest singles playing. However, his live performances are often marred by moments of physical distress, sometimes even to the point of collapsing, which has become a major concern for his fans.

According to some of his fans, after his performances, Byun Woogyu always seems to have a heavy-hearted expression when resting in the lounge, or more accurately... he looks quite lonely. It seems like he's pushing himself a bit too hard. Lastly, Byun Woogyu's official profile page mentions that his favorite things are honey bites and marble candies. It's unclear if this is tied to his hometown, but it gives off a surprisingly nostalgic and simple charm.
