Choi Yuhyun, a Siberian weasel Beastfolk, is a Thieftracker in a small rural village in Dongyeo City. He grew up there with his childhood friends, Shin Rirang and Byun Woogyu, but now, only him stays in their hometown. In addition, he has a younger brother named Choi Yuhee, whom he loves dearly. During his free time, he often teaches his brother swordsmanship.

Choi Yuhyun's hat is not something that ordinary civilians in his area can usually wear. Because of his excellent work, his superiors made an exception and granted it to him. Choi Yuhyun has sharp eyes and a serious personality, yet he is always willing to stand up for what is right. However, his overly straightforward nature often leads to him being taken advantage of or manipulated. He tends to be overly polite when speaking to strangers or people he respects, but if they don't really mind, he will drop the formalities. He's the type to consider others' feelings. In short, he's the embodiment of what people would often call a "promising young man." Compared to Shin Rirang, he expresses his warmth more openly. However, the fact that he carries multiple swords for self-defense often scares those around him.

Choi Yuhyun's hobbies include swordsmanship and making Dongyeo City-style cuisine. Compared to Shin Rirang and Byun Woogyu, Choi Yuhyun is the one who loves spicy food the most. He is able to eat dishes made with the Volcanoes' special chili peppers without flinching, and he can even eat rice with those peppers that most people would faint simply from its smell. Despite his love for spicy food, when he cooks at home, he always thoughtfully prepares non-spicy dishes for his younger brother, Choi Yuhee.

Although Choi Yuhyun seems like the perfect young man, he still has his temper. If he's angry or jealous, he will deliberately speak in an overly polite way, creating a sense of distance. Strictly speaking, this might be considered a form of gaslighting, but he always stops just at the right point, never putting too much pressure on the other person. To be honest, this little bit of petulance makes people want to get closer to him even more.
