Gandope is sometimes confused for a professor at the Furvale University of Magic because he appears to be much older than his peers. Furvale has a wide range of departments, from Medical Potions to Magical Engineering and Ancient Languages. However, as a repeater, he chose to dive into a super unpopular topic: Culinary Magic.

Despite having a weak magical talent, Gandope has managed to stay in school without getting expelled since he loves to cook, is a foodie, and is also a skilled cook. In addition, he serves as the Furvale Magic Cooking Club's covert president.

Recently, with many cases of unexplained loss of sexual drive, Gandope seems to believe that satisfying one's appetite could help restore it, and he hopes to graduate with this thesis. However, he plans to develop his theories centering around the use of frozen peas, corn, and carrots, which has led to his peers joking about it sounding like black magic instead. In reality, his dishes are quite tasty once you get past your inner demons... It's just hard to understand why Gandope is so obsessed with the 3 ingredients.

"You're definitely going to fail this year!" Gandope appears to struggle with his 8 a.m. classes as he gets older, frequently skipping class or sleeping in. During the Comprehensive Magical Aptitude Test, the professor also criticized him because of his frequent absenteeism. As a result, he appears to be thinking about taking up the position of head chef at the Furvale Cafeteria.
