Guala is a koala Beastfolk who resides deep in the forest of Rodney Volcanoes. Guala doesn't interact much with others, apart from the tribal members living in the forest. As a result, even though he is technically a resident of the island, people's knowledge of Guala remains quite limited.

According to Racles, who has regularly traded goods with Guala over the years, Guala is exactly the koala Beastfolk stereotype—drowsy and lazy. In addition, every time Racles sees him, he is always holding a tree-trunk-shaped pillow stuffed with leaves. At first glance, he looks just like a big, cuddly beast.

Never underestimate Guala just because of his calm and passive appearance. If anyone dares to make a move on his pillow, he will immediately turn hostile, and violently strike the offender with his long, curved claws and sharp teeth, which he usually keeps hidden. There was once an ignorant tourist who thought Guala would be easy to bully and tried to toy with him. It's said that the tourist ended up spending an entire year in the hospital.

Other than trading daily supplies with Racles, it seems that they have been secretly involved in some kind of activity recently. Guala, who was once lazy and undisciplined, now seems to be traveling between the forest and other areas more frequently. It feels as though something is gradually approaching Rodney Volcanoes, like a storm on the horizon...
