Meticulous, efficient, laser-focused, and always getting the job done, these are the qualities that keep Haniya consistently at the top of the mission rankings in the Celestial Court. Unlike the absent-minded and chronically underperforming Baiel, Haniya is regarded as a once-in-five-centuries prodigy with talent across the board. After the upper ranks of the Celestial Court sense mysterious disturbances of energy in WOOFIA, Haniya is assigned by the Principal Celestial Officer to travel there with Baiel and investigate.
Haniya is not good at showing his emotions, and there is always an air of pride in the way he carries himself. Because of that, despite his excellent grades, he never truly finds his way into any social circle within the Celestial Court. As a result, the only person regularly seen by Haniya's side in the Celestial Court is probably Baiel, who has always admired him. Still, for a top student as strict with himself as Haniya, the tearful, scatterbrained, constantly mistake-prone Baiel is basically a hell-level trial personally arranged for him by the Celestial Court...
Haniya cannot understand why he has to babysit an underachiever like Baiel. But after the argument at the start of the mission, the split, and the reunion that follows, Haniya finally comes to acknowledge Baiel and decides to complete the mission with him. That said, if Haniya wants the mission to go smoothly and keep his record as the top student, he will absolutely keep pushing Baiel as hard as he can, so the two of them can once again complete the mission flawlessly.
Faced with a powerful enemy on this mission that seems capable of influencing other people's desires, Haniya does not dare let his guard down for even a moment. In order to understand this thing called desire as quickly as possible, he actively gathers information and throws himself into hands-on practice, treating it like a profound field of study he has never truly mastered before. His attitude is so serious and earnest that plenty of people who originally want to take advantage of these opportunities to "study" with him and cop a feel end up backing out in fear instead. Just how many more bumps are waiting for Haniya on his path to mastering desire? Stay tuned.
