Ricano is a Husky Beastfolk who, like Famido, comes from the Northern Ruins. He is also a member of the student council at NTUU. He serves as the performer for the campus mascot, Star Pup. His physical abilities are astounding, even in the heavy mascot costume, he can effortlessly perform difficult maneuvers like tumbles and jumps, making him very popular among students and faculty. Whether it's for club activities, intercollegiate competitions, or other large-scale events, Ricano/Star Pup can always be seen, full of energy, and always manages to hype up the crowd in no time. Thanks to Ricano's ingenuity, the Star Pup costume is even equipped with a voice changer, overcoming the limitation of silent mascots and making his portrayal of Star Pup even more lively.

Ricano is Famido's junior and roommate. In their freshman year, they were assigned to the same dorm room by chance. Having been responsible for taking care of his younger brother since he was a child, Ricano has excellent housekeeping skills. After moving in with Famido, perhaps out of affection or simply because he just can't stand it, he naturally takes on most of the daily chores for his clueless senior, handling everything from laundry and cooking to cleaning the room. This has even become a hot topic on campus, with everyone speculating about their relationship... Of course, Famido's admirers are not happy about this.

Because he often makes appearances at various club events, Ricano is extremely popular and knows people from every department on campus. His handsome looks, cheerful smile, and humorous personality allow him to navigate crowds effortlessly, and he has attracted many admirers. Although he seems to welcome any romantic attention that comes his way, the only person he truly cares about, from start to finish, is Famido. He always subtly shows his affection in small details: preparing a taste of their northern hometown cuisine for Famido's birthday, or canceling all his activities to stay in the dorm and take care of Famido when he's sick... But the oblivious Famido never notices, simply tossing a "Thanks" after a meal before rushing off to practice. The thin veil of ambiguity between them is as transparent as rice paper, yet neither is willing to be the one to break it.

As a child, Ricano was ostracized by his peers for being introverted, which led him to develop the habit of hiding his vulnerability behind a smile. Despite this, the joy he brings to others is not a facade, he genuinely wants to make people happy. Only when he's alone with Famido does he let down his guard, revealing a world-weary and sometimes tired side, complaining to him about the tediousness of school life. Famido always retorts with a half-annoyed "You're just too nice." If you want to get truly closer to Ricano, it's best to quietly listen and offer companionship during those moments when he drops his smile and shows his true self. Being able to see past the smile and into his heart means you have become someone truly important and trusted by him.
