Rutenix is the current student council treasurer at Furvale, who always wears a smirk on his face. His mind is constantly racing with ways to raise more funds for the council, coming up with clever—and sometimes mischievous—ideas. Anything on campus could potentially be turned into a new, highly profitable venture by him. Because he is far stricter than Kantos when it comes to approving student budget applications, some jokingly call him the Walking Student Council Cashflow System.

Although his official position in the student council is treasurer, Rutenix does far more than just handle the finances. He often acts on behalf of the Furvale student council to manage various dealings with external partners. He has a knack for gathering useful information and leveraging it to his advantage. This even includes the hidden secrets and weaknesses of others, which is why almost no one dares to cross him. But having people's vulnerabilities at his disposal doesn't make him ruthless. At the very least, Rutenix sees this "intel" as strategic leverage—tools to be used when necessary. Pulling out the right piece of information at the right time to ease tensions is, in his view, simply an efficient way of communicating.

Rutenix's relationship with Kantos, the council's new president, is somewhat delicate. Kantos wants the council to fully support all student activities and magical research, which makes him overly lenient with budgets and often leaves finances on shaky ground. This idealism is a constant headache for Rutenix as treasurer. As a result, he quietly handles the tasks and negotiations that require a firmer hand. While this can make him seem overconfident or less communicative, it also shows he genuinely cares about others. Lately, he's been trying to place more trust in the still-inexperienced president.

On the surface, Rutenix comes across as a thoroughgoing opportunist. But if you put the council's finances aside, he's less concerned with money itself than with the satisfaction of seeing his plans and ideas unfold exactly as calculated—ultimately benefiting him in the end. That's why he sometimes secretly devises outrageous schemes to make a profit, carefully scrutinizes every expense, and occasionally even drags Kantos and Fogue into his plans. While he may seem cunning and mischievous, he's surprisingly passionate at heart. Not that he intends to harm anyone, it's just that Rutenix is so confident in his ideas that his methods can sometimes be a little extreme.
