"The Naadarg" is Rodney Volcanoes' annual festival, centered on physical feats and athletic games. Competitors honor ancestral spirits and the volcano gods through strength trials and body displays, with Tayangsuyi shining as a top contender and reigning multi-year champion.

Tayansuyi has absolute confidence in his strength and tends to look down on those opponents he deems weaker than himself, showing them no respect whatsoever. However, if he encounters someone stronger and worthy of his recognition, he will dedicate himself obsessively to them. His fiery temper is ever-present, and he is known to provoke anyone who seems like they might be able to fight well. The brashness often leads to trouble for both the individual and those around them. However, he isn't really an evil man—if you don't like his behavior, it's best to simply avoid him.

Since Tanyangsuyi's personality is so straightforward, getting on his good side is pretty easy. Either you match his strength or even surpass him, or you worship him as an idol—either one pleases him. That said, he's more interested in the first type, since there are a whole lot of people who fall into the second category. If you come to the Volcanoes to challenge him, he'll gladly accept. However, if you lose, you'll definitely get mocked in return. Treating him like an idol and praising him will please him greatly. Maybe it is due to the fact that he's a canine Beastfolk, then again, a Tayangsuyi like this can be surprisingly adorable, too.

There's also an amusing side to Tanyangsuyi, which is that he loves to flaunt his strength, including showing off his prowess in certain steamy affairs. When it comes to roles, he will repeatedly emphasize that he'll be the top. He also has a strong aversion to anyone touching his rear—for he always believes that it should be the other way around. This characteristic, while somewhat aggressive, seems to attract certain people who are drawn to being dominated or taken roughly. Despite his dominant nature, this side of Tayangsuyi might unexpectedly come off as endearing to those who appreciate such intensity.
